Brandon and Christine Campbell

After I graduated in 2001 I became the assistant pastor of the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Santa Maria, California. In May 2002, Christine graduated and we were married. God has given us four wonderful children. We enjoyed fourteen and a half years of learning, growing and, serving under Pastor Jerry Scheidbach at the Lighthouse Baptist Church. In 2015, God moved us to Wheatland (near Sacramento), California, where I became the senior pastor of the Faith Baptist Church.

God has blessed the ministry in Wheatland, and in October of this year we experienced two highlights of our almost twenty years of ministry.First, God allowed us to take part in organizing a prayer rally at the state capital. We had the privilege in the midst of a “pandemic” to pray on the steps of the capital and to hear the gospel preached the from the steps of the capital building.

Second, God allowed us and several other churches to be part of the Sacramento Victory Gospel Crusade. After two years of prayer with a group of pastors and evangelists, it looked like this city wide tent meeting might not take place, but God moved in a miraculous way. A place was secured, city permits were granted, and tent inspections were passed. It was a great joy to see pastors and churches working together in unity for the sake of the gospel. The tent was full every night for two weeks. I rejoice that the gospel was preached, souls were saved, Christians got right with God, Christians got a renewed burden to reach the lost, many specific prayers were answered, and the spirit of revival was evident. All of this in the midst of an extremely difficult year! I stand amazed at the power of God! I am thankful to the Lord for giving me the opportunity to serve Him in California and look forward to what He is going to do in the days, weeks, and months ahead.
