Joel and Lauren Norris

In 2012, my wife, Lauren, and I graduated from West Coast Baptist College and began serving at our home church, Franklin Road Baptist Church, immediately following graduation. I came on staff originally to be my Dad’s pastoral assistant, and my wife began teaching Kindergarten in the Christian school. Over the past six years of marriage and ministry, God has blessed us with new roles, opportunities, and growth. I now have the opportunity to oversee our special event planning, serve as one of the assistant pastors, and lead and teach our CrossPoint College and Young Adults Ministry. This summer, for the first time, our college ministry had over 100 young adults on our “Big Sunday.” Recently, we’ve gotten to see several foreign exchange students from our local university saved, baptized, and beginning discipleship. We are in the process of training these students and about 20 others to be the groundwork for our campus ministry to Middle Tennessee State University. My wife now has the privilege to stay at home with our children, Braxton and Baylor, and serve at the church as one of our secretaries part-time. We are blessed and excited about all that God has done in our lives, and we look forward to what He has for the future.
